T.V Santhosh is a celebrated artist from Kerala. He completed his graduate degree in sculpture at Kalabhavan, Santiniketan, and earned a master’s from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Santhosh’s work cites the histories of violence, injustice, war and media propaganda, and his practice serves as profound commentary on contemporary social and political crises.His recent exhibitions include Contextual Cosmologies (2023) at the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram, and Freedom and Awakening (2022-23) at the Kolkata Centre for Creativity. He also participated in Lokame Tharavadu (2021) for the Kochi Biennale. Other noteworthy solo shows include History Lab and the Elegy of Visceral Incantations (2024) at the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi and also the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum (2023-24).Santhosh’s work has been widely documented, with publications such as History Lab and the Elegy of Visceral Incantations (2024) and Blood and Spit: Living with a Wound (2009). Through his powerful narratives, he invites critical engagement with pressing societal issues.
