Shoji Yamasaki is a first-generation Japanese American transdisciplinary creative from the unceded ancestral land of Gabrielino-Tongva, known as Los Angeles. He creates site-responsive works by taking on the roles of a choreographer, dancer, performance artist, and filmmaker.
